Toys for the Big Boys

Visited some Pattaya "Darksider" neighbors whose into R/C Planes & Helis hobby. They are mostly from the Pattaya Flying Club. With no experience about flying, I became interested and purchased a set of trainer plane and a 6 Channel Radio (will post some pics later). Anyway, some photos of them flying their wonderful toys.

PS: "Darksider" - Since we live in the east of Pattaya where there is less bars and quiet at night, thus, this is referred to as the "Dark Side" of Pattaya.

Ayutthaya (Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya)

Last May 10, we visited Ayutthaya Province, the former capital of Thailand located 76kms North of Bangkok. We went to the historical Bang Pa-In Palace, Ancient Palace & Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit and Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon. It was my second time here, my last visit was in 2004. Though the weather is terribly hot and we are all soaking wet, the whole day trip was a thumbs up!!!

Web Info: http://www.thailandguidebook.com/provinces/ayutthaya.html

All photos were captured by my Canon 400D and Tamron 18-250mm lens.

Thailand...

The photos were taken during my recent trip to Thailand particularly in Pattaya to look for a house. I got a 2-year assignment to work in Eastern Seaboard in Rayong and I chose Pattaya to be my place as I think it is the most convenient place to stay as there are malls, wet markets, hospitals, etc.. and most specially gimik places.

As I have limited time to take photos, these are some from Marriot.

Photoshoot with Aris

Model: Aris Buenavidez
Location: Ford Philippines (Santa Rosa Laguna)
Co-Photographer: Angelo Barboza

This is my first photoshoot with a model. My gadgets were only my Canon 400D, Canon 50mm and Tamron 18-250mm and of course my plain old guts and motivation. It is definitely not a perfect one but it sure charges up my experience.

Please feel free to comment, good and bad are welcome.

Strange Friday Skyline

September 28, 2007, the sky is so strange, a rainbow appeared on the east then a breath-taking blue sky appeared on the west. It's 15 miinutes before 6PM when I observed that the light is a bit different.

The photos below have not undergone heavy PP. They are raw except that I did some cropping and adjustment on brightness and contrast only. The rest are all natural.

Strange isn't?

Did anybody observed the same? This should have been better if taken with UWA lens. I MUST GET ONE!!! :)
